They’re from 2012.A derelict shell of what once was — crumbling walls, pond-green water, smashed windows, overgrown with ivy and time.But if you look closely, you can still see the bones. The promise. The soul of the old Kings Meadow Baths, once a bustling Edwardian lido that opened in 1902, left abandoned for nearly 40 years.What followed was a painstaking renovation. A true labour of love. Years of careful restoration, craft, and vision - to breathe new life into this incredible space.Today, Thames Lido stands proud once again: a sanctuary for swimming, relaxing, and dining - a celebration of restoration, community and care.It’s quite something, isn’t it?#thameslido
